Vent – Enter – Isolate – Search (VEIS)
Vent-Enter-Isolate-Search (VEIS) is a deliberate tactic for the immediate rescue of a fire victim. This tactic puts us in the immediate area of victims or potential victim locations. The skill requires crew coordination, knowledge of building construction, and a full understanding of fire dynamics.
Hoseline Advancement
The objective of this training is to improve hose handling and hose operation skills and to practice working as a team. Firefighters will demonstrate a general understanding of the various methods of advancing an attack line into a structure.
Basic Life Support
The Basic Life Support (BLS): CPR and First Aid provider program is designed to provide course participants with foundational knowledge and teach skills needed to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and other lifesaving skills.
Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Awareness
The purpose of this training is to provide firefighters and first responders a basic understanding and awareness of hazardous materials that can be a threat to you and your community.
